MSCAP because of the COVID-19 pandemic wasn't able to cover all 10 Districts of MDRS. MSCAP was able to speak to 5 Districts of MDRS and the Addie McByrde Center. MSCAP was also able to speak to 1 LIFE office. MSCAP passed out CAP Brochures, CAP business cards, and CAP posters where the office could pass out when needed. The attendees where mostly counselors and some individuals with disabilities.
C. Agency Outreach
MSCAP unlike years before wasn't able to attend a lot of event because they all were canceled because of COVID-19. MSCAP was able to reach out to some under served at an event called Barn Yard and Dance for people with disabilities. There were 100's of induvial with all type of disabilities and MSCAP was able to talk to and educate a lot of those individuals.
MSCAP was able to attend and speak at the Employ Ability job fair at the Medical Mall.
MSCAP is on the Special Education Advisory Panel (SEAP) that goes to schools and helps educate the districts of ways to improve their district.
