Eddie always had an entrepreneurial spirit. At age 14, he faced a life-altering challenge when he suddenly lost his vision. Supported by the Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired (DVI), Eddie received orientation and mobility services, pre-employment transition services, and financial assistance earning a Business Administration degree from Goldey-Beacom College.
DVI continued to help Eddie with job placement and self-employment services, enabling him to secure his first job and launch SecondWave Exchange, a resale storefront in St. Georges, DE. Today, Eddie is focused on expanding his business, attracting new customers, and moving into a larger space.
